What is expected to be a steady stream of national letters of intent began pouring into West Virginia shortly after 7 a.m. today.
The first to sign was Al-Rasheed Benton, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker from New Jersey. Shortly thereafter the school received the signed letter from the only West Virginia expected to sign, Spring Valley fullback Elijah Wellman.
Benton and Wellman are the first of what is expected to be at least 16 players to sign letters of intent today and return them to WVU.
