West Virginia University football fans wanting to make vacation plans around the 2012 season are going to have to wait a little longer.

Although there were reports the Big 12 Conference would release the fall schedule of its 10 member teams on Friday, that didn’t happen.

News outlets-both inside and outside the Mountain State -are reporting that West Virginia University and the Big East Conference have reached an agreement that will allow WVU to join the Big 12 Conference on July 1, thus permitting the Mountaineers to play football in the Big 12 this fall.
