Signing Day Surprise: Jeremy Tyler Signs With WVU

The WVU coaching staff pulled in a nice surprise on the morning of National Signing Day when Jeremy Tyler faxed in his Letter of Intent with the Mountaineers.

Tyler was previously uncommitted and visited WVU the weekend of January 18th.  His lead recruiter was Robert Gillespie.

Tyler is a 6’1″ 200-pound safety prospect who also held additional offers from Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

He is rated as a three-star prospect by and the 42nd overall safety in the country.  He’s also ranked as the 51st overall prospect in the state of Georgia.
