Updated: Bowl season is almost over so I thought this would be a good time to reflect on the meaningless pick’em contest that we previously posted.

The winners and standings have been updated below.

After a horrible start, I’ve come back to take 2nd place. The only chance I’ve got is for TCU & Iowa to win and the best I can do is a tie.

But ties suck, so if the above two teams were to win, we’ll have to come up with a tiebreaker of some sort for the Championship game.

As promised earlier this week, our picks for the bowl season are now in.

There is no money at stake or any other prizes…only pride. And after the regular season pick’em, pride is about all I have left.

But life isn’t about how many times you get knocked down, it’s about how many times you get up after being knocked down.

Yes, I took one on the chin in the pick’em but I’ve picked myself up off of the floor and I’m out to get a win this time.

Preseason rankings don’t matter one bit – it only matters where you are ranked at the end of the season right? So the way I see it is if I win the Bowl Pick’em than that ranks me #1 at the end of the season. I’m the Champion!

Hey, like Stew, I’ll take a victory however I can get it. Pretty, ugly, big or small. I don’t care as long as I get the W. Just winning is enough for me.
