Head Coach: David Bennett

Bennett was born in Greer, South Carolina and is heading into his eighth year as the head football coach at Coastal Carolina. In that span he’s put together an overall record of 50-29. He came to the Chanticleers following seven years as the head coach at Catawba College in North Carolina.

He was named the 2006 National Football Championship Subdivision Coach of the Year by Sportexe after Coastal Carolina finished the regular season with a record of 9-2 and won the Big South Conference for the third straight year.
