Mountaineers’ speed not just limited to offense

Most college football fans know about West Virginia’s speed on offense.

They know the Mountaineers’ starting running back Noel Devine runs a sub 4.4-second 40-yard dash. They also know about WVU’s speedsters at wide receiver like Jock Sanders and Tavon Austin.

But, West Virginia coach Bill Stewart wants his opponents in 2010 to know a little bit more about the Mountaineers’ speed on the other side of the ball.
