Not necessarily the most glorified position on the football field, Nick Meadows takes great pride as a long-snapper.
Since receiving serious looks from major college programs last summer, Meadows made it official on Wednesday and became a preferred walk-on at West Virginia University.
Among those in attendance for the senior’s banner day inside Williamstown High School were his parents, Julie and Bob Meadows, along with members of the Yellowjacket coaching staff (head coach Terry Smith and assistants Scott Moore, Chris Beck and Ben Preston).
