John Marinatto isn’t saying anything about West Virginia and its association with the Big East.
That should come as no surprise considering that since the impending lawsuit between the Big East Conference and West Virginia began no one on either side has said much. During Wednesday’s Big East Teleconference to introduce Memphis as the newest member of a Big East, Conference Commissioner John Marinatto avoided any questions related to the Big East’s future with West Virginia.
“Obviously the question is related to the impending litigation that we’re involved in on two fronts and it really would be inappropriate for me to get into specifics about all of that at this point,” said Marinatto when he was asked about a potential team that could replace WVU in 2012. “I’m going to not talk about that specifically.”
