West Virginia’s weekly injury report comes out today, but Coach Bill Stewart didn’t give a strong indication Tuesday middle linebacker Pat Lazear will play Friday at Marshall.
The senior from Bethesda, Md., who led the team in tackles last season, was injured late in preseason camp when leg-whipped by safety Robert Sands.
He missed Saturday’s 31-0 victory against Coastal Carolina with what was listed as knee and tibia injuries.
