West Virginia’s football program signed four junior college players Wednesday, the first day signings were allowed but it appears the Mountaineers are going to have to wait until mid-January to find out if they will land the quarterback they covet.
The four letters-of-intent they received were from running back Dreamius Smith, wide receivers Ronald Carswell and Kevin White and safety Terrell Pinson.
Junior college players who will be eligible to enroll in the spring are allowed to sign during December and into January but if they have required work left they must wait until the February signing period when high school players send in their letters of intent.

I know everyone needs second chances, but I hope the QB with the alcohol related arrest is kept on a very short leash atleast until he can prove himself in Motown for a semester or two. I don’t want to be the school who takes all the kids who got in trouble somewhere else just because they are good players.
Childress pulled a similar stunt. Hearing nothing new, I guess he’s learned his lesson.
